As the holiday season draws near, Earnin has decided to reward those making an effort to save by giving away $100 to 100 Tip Yourself members the week of Thanksgiving. It’s the Season of Savings Sweepstakes!
As many of us know, the holiday season is a time for cheer, but it can also be a time of financial stress. In fact, according to Gallup, Americans plan to significantly cut back on holiday spending this year. With all that’s been going on in 2020, it’s become abundantly clear how important it is to save money. To encourage participation, Earnin’s made entering the sweepstakes extremely easy.
To be eligible, all you need to do is...
  1. Have an account on Earnin’s Tip Yourself
  2. Create a Tip Jar called “4Me”
  3. Add at least $1 to your “4Me” Tip Jar
For those that don’t know, Tip Yourself is an interactive tool that helps you set financial goals and put money aside in your designated Tip Jars. When you accomplish tasks you’re proud of, you can fill your Tip Jars to celebrate and congratulate yourself, while also moving a step closer towards your goals. Additionally, you can share why you’re setting aside money, which can help encourage other members of the Earnin community to save as well.
“People clearly recognize the importance of saving, especially during a global pandemic where people are facing difficult times, but it can be challenging to get started,” said Ram Palaniappan, Founder and CEO of Earnin. “We hope our sweepstakes encourages people across the country to develop an active and consistent savings habit, which will ultimately help them unlock greater financial freedom and flexibility.”
The sweepstakes began on October 26th and is scheduled to end on November 23rd. On November 24th, the 100 winners will receive their $100 in their 4ME Tip Jars.
